about

A collection of songs recorded and engineered at Studio Orange by Jeff Mulick. Mike and Tammy met via their high school art teacher, Jeff Mulick who was also a musician. Mike had long graduated high school when, Tammy a junior in high school auditioned for the band, which was known as K9 at the time. Ron HIndt was 20 years old and was formerly the lead singer of the band US 101 which featured Tommy Lee on drums. (Yes, the same Tommy Lee that later form Motley Crue.) K9 was looking for a new band name and Ron had some employees from his dad's company, Hind Clay, write down a list of band name ideas. Mike had met Ron at Hind Clay where he was also an employee for a short time. The list of names was lying on the floor of the rehearsal room in La Puente, when Tommy Lee came to visit Ron and the band. He noticed the list and asked if he could have it because his band was also looking for a name. On the list was the name Motley Crew, and you know what happened after that! The name Eddie was inspired by The Ramones. Everyone in the Ramones had the last name Ramone, so everyone in Eddie had the last name Eddie. Why Eddie? No clue. Could it have from "Eddie are You Kidding?" by Frank Zappa?
